Ficha 55/56: Mini-projeto 3
(Despair Of Thy Masses edition)
Como está escrito no tĂtulo, estas duas lições foram passadas a tentar funcionar com o Lego Mindstorms Robot Inventor (LMRI), e a falhar, ultimamente.
Problema:
-Aparentemente, e de acordo com o Reddit/Google/Wiki e praticamente todos os sĂtios onde consegui encontrar uma resposta Ăştil, o bloco "cabeça" do Lego Spike, se alguma vez tiver sido usado com um nĂşmero especĂfico de versões, deixa de funcionar com o LMRI.
Simplificando:
Imaginemos que há 3 versões do software que estamos a usar para controlar o "cérebro": As versões 1 e 2 são duas versões do software Spike (1-mais antiga;2-mais recente) e a 3 é a versão da LMRI.
As versões 1 e 3 sĂŁo compatĂveis, intercomutáveis e parece que a versĂŁo 3 Ă© apenas uma versĂŁo 1 com mais features.
Já a versĂŁo 2 Ă© completamente incompatĂvel tanto com a 1 como com a 3. O que Ă© que eu quero dizer com isto? Ao utilizar o mĂłdulo de comando do Lego Spike com a versĂŁo 1, estamos a "trancar" a escolha de opções que temos para a aplicação de forma a que tenhamos acesso Ă s duas versões intercompatĂveis entre si, a 1 e a 3. Já quando usamos a 2, "trancamos" no mĂłdulo controlador que "queremos" usar a 2, quase como quando se faz um update num telefone, raramente dá para instalar uma versĂŁo mais antiga que a instalada. O que se sucede Ă© que a versĂŁo 2 faz com que, ao nĂŁo ser compatĂvel com a 3 (LMRI), deixe de conectar o mĂłdulo ao PC, seja por cabo usb, seja por bluetooth ou wireless.
Aà reside o problema do meu grupo, porque agora desperdiçámos tempo numa coisa que não irá funcionar/dar para fazer.

Sieben Jahre benötigte LEGO für die Vorstellung des Nachfolgers des beliebten Robotik-Baukastens LEGO Mindstorms EV3. Der sogenannte Mindstorms Robot Inventor hat eine Menge zu bieten.
LEGO Mindstorms EV3 stammt zwar aus dem Jahr 2013, erfreut sich aber nach wie vor großer Beliebtheit. Denn bisher gab es zumindest vom dänischen Bauklotzhersteller kaum eine vergleichbar anspruchsvolle Möglichkeit, komplexe Roboter zu basteln. Bald kommt nun der auch von vielen Tüftlern erwartete Nachfolger, der auf den Namen LEGO Mindstorms Robot Inventor hört. Der Titel ist hier natürlich Programm.
Das steckt im LEGO Mindstorms Robot Inventor
Der Baukasten Robot Inventor besteht aus 949 Teilen, mit denen ihr fünf unterschiedliche Roboter nach Anleitung erschafft. Vorgesehen zwei zwei humanoide Roboter mit zwei Armen, eine Ballwurfmaschine, ein Kran mit Greifarm sowie ein vierbeiniger Bot. Dank Kompatibilität zu LEGO und LEGO Technik sollt ihr aber auch eigene Maschinen entwickeln – logo!

Spannend wird Robot Inventor genau dann, wenn ihr selbst aktiv werdet. Eine App fĂĽr Windows 10, macOS, iOS und Android erlaubt das individuelle Programmieren der einzelnen Komponenten, die ihr via Drag & Drop zusammensetzt. Das basiert auf der Programmiersprache Scratch. Experten nutzen die erweiterten Funktionen, die die Scriptsprache Python erlaubt.
Dreh- und Angelpunkt ist ein zentrales Modul, das über sechs Anschlüsse für Sensoren (Lautsprecher, Entfernungsmesser, Farbsensor, Beschleunigungssensor, vier mitgelieferte Motoren mit Rotationssensor) verfügt. Weitere GPIO-Pins ermöglichen den Anschluss anderer Sensoren, die nicht von LEGO stammen. Von einer Kompatibilität mit EV3 ist übrigens nicht die Rede – das ist nicht optimal.
Weitere Möglichkeiten
In den letzten Jahren ist viel passiert – und so bietet LEGO Mindstorms Robot Inventor auch einige neue Aspekte. Dank Bluetooth könnt ihr Controller, Fernbedienungen oder andere Geräte verbinden. Ebenso lässt sich eine 5×5-LED-Matrix integrieren. Der vorhandene Akku kann von euch via USB aufgeladen werden, ein Betrieb über eine Powerbank dürfte damit auch möglich sein.

Wenn LEGO Mindstorms Robot Inventor im Herbst 2020 in den Handel kommt, wird es für Eltern mit Kindern ab 10 Jahren (das ist die Altersempfehlung) kein günstiges Weihnachtsfest. Denn das Paket soll rund 360 Euro kosten – also ähnlich viel wie damals LEGO Mindstorms.
